We are only days removed from AEW's next big pay-per-view

AEW first rose to prominence as an alternative product that people who were jaded with WWE could watch every week and enjoy. It's a colorful presentation with an even more colorful bunch of characters all of whom bring something unique to the table.

And now, after a month of weekly television, it's time for the first pay-per-view in quite some time. AEW Full Gear should be packed with a lot of action and excitement, and I'm curious to see what's next for this promising brand.

At the same time, with all the hype around WWE and Survivor Series, it just seems like there isn't nearly as much buzz around AEW as they would have liked. There's a very easy fix to this issue- a whole bunch of surprises to keep things very interesting.

With that in mind, here are five surprises that could potentially take place at Full Gear.

#5 MJF betrays Cody, joins The Inner Circle

Many believe that MJF is the upgraded version of The Miz, but he really hasn't had the chance to showcase just how talented he is on AEW. Yes, he had that moment with Bret Hart b, t ever since then, he's been showcased as little more than a friend of Cody Rhodes. I honestly do think that MJF is a much better fit for The Inner Circle as compared to what he is doing at the moment.

Maybe, Cody Rhodes is on the verge of picking up a big win when MJF costs him the match. What this will do is to establish a program between Cody and MJF, which could stretch out for months.

MJF could also fight right into The Inner Circle as a part of Chris Jericho's stable. It would be just the push he needs.

#4 Nyla Rose returns to destroy Britt Baker

Bea Priestley and Britt Baker will go to war during the Buy-In, which should be a great way to get fans all excited for the show to follow. But then again, if it's just a match between these two women who've not really had the kind of intense build that say, Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho have had, is it really enough to get the audience to buy the actual show? If you ask me, the answer is no! But a surprise or two could certainly change almost everything.

Nyla Rose was a part of the title picture not long ago and could certainly return to make a statement against Britt Baker. She could be upset that for all her strength and her might, she does not have a place on the card while Baker does. Baker vs. Rose could be a very intriguing feud as the babyface and heel are clearly defined in this case.

Rose has a unique look and build especially in the AEW Women's Division which is clearly going to be built around Dr. Britt Baker, so if the program does happen, it should be one to really watch out for!

#3 The Lucha Bros become the brand new AEW Tag Team Champions

I was very surprised when SCU became the AEW Tag Team Champions, especially after defeating a red-hot team like the Lucha Brothers. But then I realized that Pentagon and Fenix were getting yet another shot at the titles only days later, and realized just what could be the plan of action, moving forward for AEW Creative.

In case they become the Tag Team Champions and the former LAX manages to beat The Young Bucks, we could be in for a real treat. Lucha Brothers vs. LAX was a feud that set Impact Wrestling on fire and pretty much rebuilt a tag team division that had been dead until that point.

So, could we see the two teams slug it out in AEW, provided Pentagon and Fenix manage to pick up the win in this title match? One must remember at all times that in addition to the veterans in SCU and the Lucha Brothers, Private Party will also be a part of the match and they have been on a tear recently.

Here's a word of advice, ladies and gentlemen! If you blink, you will miss the action!

#2 Brandi Rhodes interferes in the Women's title match

Brandi Rhodes has obviously formed some sort of dark and demonic alliance with Awesome Kong, and it is very clear that she will be a heel going forward from her video packages. The only sad aspect of this particular package is that it is a lot more exciting than anything else in the women's division. The AEW Women's Championship feud, in particular, pales in comparison to what we've seen from Brandi Rhodes thus far.

So, when Riho is taking on Emi Sakura in a match between teacher and student, I can absolutely imagine Brandi Rhodes coming to the ring with Awesome Kong in tow to send the message that Awesome Kong is a future Championship contender. One must also remember that at AEW Double or Nothing, Brandi Rhodes pretty much ensured that Awesome Kong was added to a match, so if she's being portrayed as a heel, one can totally imagine her abusing her power for something similar to happen again.

I think it's very unlikely that Emi Sakura will become the AEW Women's Champion, at this stage. Hence, Riho vs. Awesome Kong may be the big money match.

#1 Proud-n-Powerful cheat to win against the Young Bucks

I'm sure many of you have followed the careers of Santana and Ortiz from the time that they were in Impact Wrestling as LAX, wrestling as a part of Konnan's stable, honing their skills under his learning tree. They are at the top of their game at the moment and their match at AEW Full Gear should certainly be a clash for the ages when they take on The Young Bucks.

But one thing to remember is that they are a part of the Inner Circle and this essentially means that they have Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager watching their back. Both Matt and Nick Jackson are looking at establishing the Tag Team Division at this point in time, and as we see from them laying down for Private Party, they don't mind another team scoring a victory every once in a while.

Hager could always come down and while the referee is distracted, cause a distraction that leads to Santana and Ortiz picking up a win. And this would in turn possibly put them in title contention, which would be a massive step up for the team.

AEW Full Gear should be stacked!
