Impact Wrestling Rumor Roundup: Misused former RAW Superstar's in-ring debut confirmed, Former Intercontinental Champion upset with WWE

Welcome to the Impact Wrestling Rumor Roundup, where we try to bring you the biggest stories from the 'Impact Zone'. Last week we covered released Impact star's 'private WWE tryout' and a former WWE Champion's new deal.

From Impact finally getting a new network, to disgruntled Impact Superstar revealing if he plans to sue the company, let us take a look at 5 of the most exciting stories of the week:

#5 Tenille Dashwood to finally make Impact Wrestling in-ring debut

In August this year, it was reported that former NXT and WWE Superstar Emma has signed with Impact Wrestling. This was a major signing for Impact, as Emma is an in-ring veteran and has competed for various other promotions including ROH and AEW.

Here is the statement that Impact had released:

"IMPACT Wrestling is proud to announce that Tenille Dashwood has signed to be our newest Knockout and addition to the roster. Tenille will make her IMPACT debut in Mexico City, Mexico on August 15th and August 16th."

After a long wait, Emma, who goes by Tenille Dashwood in Impact, will be making her in-ring debut for the company when she faces Keira Hogan on this Friday's edition of Impact Wrestling.

#4 Impact Wrestling gets a new home

While Impact has continued to deliver great content, they have lacked viewership because of unappealing TV deals. However, Impact's parent company, Anthem, purchased the majority stake in AXS TV and Impact will start airing on the channel from October.

Here is what Anthem CEO Leonard Asper told Multi-Channel news:

"We were talking about a content relationship with them based on some of the other things we do — wrestling and e-sports and fantasy sports — and that led to this deal,” Asper said. “There was no investment bank hired or a process at all. This was a discussion that came out of a relationship we were developing with them."

“That’s a very important part of our growth plan, owning content. We believe owning the content and putting it on our channels, but also having it on other people’s platforms as well. I call that untethered vertical integration.”

#3 Ken Shamrock unhappy with WWE

Ken Shamrock is not just a UFC Legend, but also one of the most important stars of WWE's famous attitude era. The 55-year-old will finally be making his in-ring return for Impact Wrestling when he takes on Moose at Bound for Glory.

Chris Van Vliet recently spoke to the Impact Superstar on a variety of topics including his current relationship with WWE:

"I don’t know if there is a relationship. I know I was there and I know that I was able to be part of something special. I just don’t know if there was ever a relationship because even after I left, it almost felt like I was the black sheep. Once I left [I was] never mentioned again. No credit given, no highlights or anything shown. Nobody speaks of it. I don’t know, it’s just weird, it’s just gone."

On his issue with the RAW Reunion:

"Even when they did this Raw reunion and these other reunions, it’s like why wouldn’t I have been there? I don’t understand that. I don’t know who I pissed off or what kind of bridges were blown up. I thought I did everything on a very professional level."

#2 Possible partnership between Impact and NJPW

With Impact joining AXS TV which is the home of NJPW in the US, there is high speculation that both the companies may enter into some kind of a partnership soon. There is also a belief that Impact would want NJPW to replace their ongoing arrangement with ROH and replace them with Impact.

Here is what Anthem Wrestling President Ed Nordholm had to say on the matter:

“Anthem has been public that it has not made any decisions regarding current programming. We have been long-time broadcast partners with TV Asahi for NJPW at Fight Network and hope to build on that relationship. We are in the middle of a season with WOW and about to tape another series of episodes next week, so no reason to make any decisions there in the short term. We’re looking forward to getting to know them better.”

#1 Killer Kross reveals if he plans to sue Impact Wrestling

One of the biggest stories coming out of Impact in the past few weeks is the battle between Impact Superstar Killer Kross and the management. It all began when Kross allegedly refused to blade during a match leading to Impact not using him for their tapings even though he is under contract.

We had reported last week that Impact officials state that Kross was offered a 6-figure deal to re-sign with the company which he refused.

Here is what Killer Kross had to say on the rumors of him suing Impact:

“I’ve actually made it abundantly clear that I have not been interested in going into litigation. I’m not interested in going down that road. I’ve been trying for many, many, many months. I’ve been exhausting all options on how to fix this situation. There’s an attorney involved and we’re not suing anyone. I’ve been trying to avoid litigation as much as possible and, again, I have nothing to worry about in all of this. I really don’t. I’m not on the wrong on any of this and I’m just trying to follow my lane here. I have everything on paper. As I said before, I’m not worried about anything at all. I’ve done nothing wrong — at all. I’m just trying to do the right thing and I wish I would be met with that as well because there’s only one right thing to do here and it’s not being done.”
