#6 Samoa Joe - United States Champion

He has definitely been one of the better US Champs in recent memory!
He has definitely been one of the better US Champs in recent memory!

Samoa Joe has held the US Championship for quite some time now, and he has definitely uplifted its status. Though there's still a lot that was not done properly in his reign so far. Him losing on SmackDown a couple of times after being champion, an underwhelming match against Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania were a few moments that could have been avoided.

But if we look at his recently teased feud against Braun Strowman, these two can kill it out in the middle and make the US Championship great again. Two monsters battling it out for the US Championship is exactly what the title needs after a disappointing 2018.

#5 Finn Balor - Intercontinental Champion

Balor has been a fighting champion ever since his victory at WrestleMania 35!
Balor has been a fighting champion ever since his victory at WrestleMania 35!

The Demon King, Finn Balor, defeated Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 35 in a convincing fashion to win his 2nd Intercontinental Championship.

Ever since, he has been a fighting champion, defending his title on various occasions on both RAW and SmackDown. He first defended the IC title against a returning Sami Zayn on the RAW after WrestleMania. Then he went on to face Andrade the next week on RAW in a non-title match and then faced Mustafa Ali on his first night on SmackDown, successfully defending his title.

Balor also successfully defended the IC Championship against Elias in the WWE Network Special, The Shield's Final Chapter. All and all, he has been the busiest champion on TV. The Intercontinental Championship is considered a workhorse's title, and Finn definitely fits the nickname.
