"Every girl goes crazy for a sharp dressed man." Texas rock and roll icon ZZ Top wrote that lyric thirty years ago, yet it still applies today. While it's important not to overlook less obvious qualities in people in general, and wrestlers in particular, there's nothing wrong with giving a nod to those among us who dress on the bleeding edge of fabulous fashion.

Pro wrestling -- or sports entertainment, if you prefer is a realm of extremes. Extreme athleticism, extremely jacked bodies, and--you guessed it--extreme fashion.

Sometimes a wrestler can be recognized as a fabulous dresser based only upon their entrance gear. Other times, they are recognized for the way they dress when not performing. Then again, there are those who are fabulous both inside and outside the ring.

A visual first impression is of the utmost importance in an entertainment format like pro wrestling, so naturally there are a lot of amazing costumes. But who is the most fabulous fashionista of them all?

Without further ado, here are the ten most fabulous fashionistas in pro wrestling.

#10. Booker T

Booker T has always had impeccable fashion sense. Can you dig that, sucka?
Booker T has always had impeccable fashion sense. Can you dig that, sucka?

Booker T's legacy in pro wrestling is more than secure; it's legendary. Not only is he one of the few men to win both the WCW and WWE big belt championships, he is a highly decorated tag team wrestler as well, not only with his partner Stevie Ray in Harlem Heat, but a slew of other teammates as well.

While being a two-time, two-time WWE Hall of Fame member is a great notch on Booker T's belt, he is also one of the best dressed men in pro wrestling history. Booker T favors tailored suits in classic styles, but with a pop of color and extra patterns that wow audiences everywhere.

Post his wrestling stint, Booker does a lot of the talking on behalf of the WWE as a commentator on pay-per-view and pre-shows. He is also a part of plenty of network special programs.

One thing we are sure to notice is how Booker looks dapper than most of his colleagues on the panel.

#9. Dave Bautista

Dave Bautista, former pro wrestler and current movie star, always dressed impeccably. And if you disagree, you might just wind up on the wrong side of a Batista Bomb.
Dave Bautista, former pro wrestler and current movie star, always dressed impeccably. And if you disagree, you might just wind up on the wrong side of a Batista Bomb.

Batista got into the pro wrestling game relatively late, beginning his training at thirty years of age. The former bodybuilder and nightclub bouncer originally tried out for WCW's much ballyhooed power plant in 1999, but was told by the head trainer Buddy Lee Parker that he would 'never make it' as a pro wrestler. We're betting Parker has eaten his words since then, and then some!

Batista trained in Ohio Valley Wrestling, and when he debuted in WWE he was quickly added to the Evolution stable. Batista would go on to become a multi-time world champion before leaving the industry for a Hollywood career, and is due to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

But while Batista's ring gear was fairly mundane -- a pair of wrestling tights -- outside the ring he has always dressed sharply. Being a large man, all of his suits must be tailored, but the end result is a modern fit with classic lines, and one damn good dresser.

#8. Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss
Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss is a relatively young WWE superstar who has battled more adversity than most people are aware of. Bliss struggled with an eating disorder for many years, and nearly lost her life to it. However, she credits fitness competitions with saving her life, as well as strong support from family and friends.

At just over five feet tall, Bliss might seem an unlikely candidate to be a pro wrestling champion, but appearances can be deceiving. Bliss is already well on her way to a Hall of Fame worthy career, with multiple title reigns to her credit.

One of the things about Alexa Bliss that you can count on is her amazing ring gear. Whether she's evoking Harley Quinn, or coming up with her own unique take on a Disney princess, one can rest assured that she will always look absolutely fabulous. Outside the ring, her fashion sense is equally impeccable, with an eye toward body hugging dresses which provide the right balance of allure and demureness.

With Bliss being involved in a feud with the Fiend, the fashion police are on a keen watch.

#7. Goldust

Goldust's many faces.
Goldust's many faces.

We'll be the first ones to admit it: covering yourself in gold and black body paint and wearing feather boas doesn't work for everyone.

But one man it DOES work for is the legendary Dustin Runnels when he was playing the Goldust character. In its original inception, the Goldust costume and body paint were meant to be reminiscent of the Academy Awards Oscar statuette, WWE's very own androgynous Oscar.

Over the years, his look has evolved, adding more black to the gold and emulating pop culture icons such as Darth Maul. Goldust also has fabulous entrance attire, featuring magnificent feathered and sequin encrusted robes which flow like water about his svelte, yet powerful body.

These days, Dustin Runnels works for the AEW promotion and no longer plays the Goldust character. However, we can always look back on his long and storied career, and never, ever forget the name of...long inhale...Goldust.

Fun fact is that even when Runnels was in the WCW, he played some questionable gimmicks that mandated even more questionable attires.

#6. Breezango

Tyler Breeze and Fandango, together again at last.
Tyler Breeze and Fandango, together again at last.

Did you really, really, REALLY believe in your heart of hearts that we would leave the former Fashion Police off of a list of the most fabulously dressed wrestlers? Perish the thought.

Long considered two of the most underrated (by WWE management) superstars in the business, Fandango and 'Prince Pretty' Tyler Breeze have tasted success both on the main roster and NXT -- particularly Fandango, who wrestled on RAW and SmackDown for years, feuding with the likes of Chris Jericho.

These days, Fandango and Tyler Breeze--affectionately referred to as Breezango--are back in NXT, and putting on some stellar performances that rival those of the legendary Rock and Roll Express. Their in-ring work is so good, you almost forget that they are also two of the most fabulous fashionistas not only in WWE, but all of sports entertainment and pro wrestling.

Despite making a great start to their careers, the duo may not have ended up where they liked. But that hasn't kept them from chasing their dreams and still trying to look like a million bucks.

#5. 'Macho Man' Randy Savage

'Macho Man' Randy Savage: OOOOOH YEAH!
'Macho Man' Randy Savage: OOOOOH YEAH!

'Macho Man' Randy Savage originally planned to have a career in Major League Baseball, and even played as a shortstop for the St. Louis Cardinals. However, Savage would instead be drawn into the Missouri pro wrestling scene, quickly becoming one of the top stars during the territorial days of the 1970s.

When the industry changed in the 1980s, 'Macho Man' signed with WWE and quickly captured the Intercontinental Championship. He would go on to reign as WWE World Champion, as well as capturing the WCW World title before that promotion went under.

While in the early days, his ring gear was fairly mundane, he always wore elaborate robes, and the designer sunglasses which became his trademark. Savage's look has evolved over the years, with his 'neon cowboy' era perhaps becoming the most iconic.

Savage's eye-catching, if not always eye pleasing, garment choices put him firmly on our list, as well as highlighting his versatility as a performer.

His flashy attire was a testament to his persona.

#4. Kenny Omega

Even though he's considered by many to be the best in-ring performer of his generation, Kenny Omega never takes himself--or his ring gear--too seriously.
Even though he's considered by many to be the best in-ring performer of his generation, Kenny Omega never takes himself--or his ring gear--too seriously.

The Best Bout Machine. The Best Wrestler on the Planet. One of only two men to ever earn higher than a five-star match rating from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer (the other was his opponent Kazuchika Okada). The man who sparked the greatest bidding war in pro wrestling history.

And also a man who refuses to take himself too seriously.

Kenny Omega's in-ring gear isn't all that spectacular most of the time--he favors black tights and boots with minor decorations -- but his specialty outfits and entrance gear for major events are off the charts. Whether he's evoking the Terminator or Princess Jasmine, Kenny Omega's fashion choices steal the show almost as much as his amazing talent inside of the vaunted squared circle.

Few superstars are as versatile as Kenny Omega in the current scenerio and he has a reputation like none other spanning across global promotions.

#3. Pentagon Jr.

Pentagon Jr.'s demonic themes stand out even in the richly colorful tapestry that is Lucha Libre.
Pentagon Jr.'s demonic themes stand out even in the richly colorful tapestry that is Lucha Libre.

When it comes to in-ring garments, Lucha Libre stars are among the most dazzling, colorful, and amazing performers in the world.

But even among these stalwart standard bearers of richly fabulous attire, there is a man who stands out. You may know him by a variety of names, but all of them contain the word Pentagon.

Pentagon Jr. is a very traditional Lucha Libre grappler in that he refuses to remove his mask even when he's not performing in the ring. No one knows for sure what his real name is, or what he really looks like beneath his signature demon attire, but one thing's for certain; his appearance is simultaneously the stuff of nightmares and absolutely fabulous.

He's currently working most prominently in All Elite Wrestling's Tag Team Division, but his singles acumen has earned him numerous championships as well, including a reign as Impact's big belt holder.

As far as death glares go, Pentagon Jr is right there at the top of the list.

#2. 'The Nature' Boy Ric Flair

The one and only 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair
The one and only 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair

No matter where you go in the world to watch pro wrestling, or what promotion you favor, one thing is as inevitable as the opening bell. When someone performs a knife edge chop to the chest, the entire audience will shout, in unison, "WOOOOOO!" That's because of the influence of one of the all time greats--indeed, possibly the GOAT--'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair.

There are so many things about Ric Flair that stand out. His outstanding stamina--his nickname used to be the 'sixty minute man' because of his propensity for hanging on to his title through a time limit draw--his charisma, and his many, many title reigns. But one of his major facets is his fabulous attire, both in and out of the ring.

Ric Flair's tailored suits--custom made, as he used to boast--are the stuff of legend, and his fabulous robes with their feathered sleeves and glittering rhinestones can cost more than a new car. He definitely deserves recognition on our list.

#1. Asuka

Asuka--a graphic designer by trade before becoming a pro wrestler--has some of the most dazzling entrance gear in all of sports entertainment.
Asuka--a graphic designer by trade before becoming a pro wrestler--has some of the most dazzling entrance gear in all of sports entertainment.

At last, we reach number one on our list of the most fabulous fashionistas in pro wrestling and sports entertainment. While the competition was fierce, we have to give top honors to a woman who has been a major force in legitimizing women's wrestling both in her native Japan and the entire industry in general: Asuka.

The mist spewing Kabuki Warrior enjoyed one of the longest undefeated streaks in pro wrestling history, and spent her entire NXT tenure without being pinned or forced to submit, an impressive accolade.

But as good as Asuka is in the ring, her outstanding and amazing ring gear and entrance attire are simply the best. Using a variety of patterns, colors, and textures, Asuka weaves the seemingly chaotic jumble into a sublime work of wearable art. There's nothing better than watching her strut to the ring in her iconic gear, and that's why she's at the top of our list.
