The first ever tag team ladder match at No Mercy 1999 between The Hardy Boyz and Edge & Christian was a huge success. Wanting to go even bigger, WWE announced that a triple threat ladder match would take place at WrestleMania 2000.
The Hardy Boyz and Edge & Christian would be involved, with The Dudley Boyz getting added to the match too.
All three tag teams wowed the WWE Universe as they took incredible risks and death-defying bumps in an effort to become WWE World Tag Team Champions. This included Jeff Hardy hitting a Swanton Bomb from the top of a 20-foot ladder onto Bubba Ray Dudley through a table outside of the ring.
The closing moments of the match saw Edge & Christian, who were perched on a table placed on top of a ladder, throw Matt Hardy through a table and retrieve the Titles to become the WWE World Tag Team Champions once again.
