WWE Clash Of Champions will be emanating from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC tonight. The long build-up to the show has got the fans pretty hyped up heading into the show.

Over ten matches are confirmed for the event, including Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman for the Universal Championship, Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship, AJ Styles vs. Cedric Alexander for the United States Championship and The Revival vs. The New Day for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

Elsewhere on the card, both women’s divisions will be represented with Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks for the RAW Women's Championship and Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's Championship. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross will also defend the Women's Tag titles against Fire and Desire.

Rollins and Strowman will also team up against Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler to defend their RAW Tag Team titles. Roman Reigns will go head-to-head with Erick Rowan while The Miz will be looking to win his 9th Intercontinental title against Shinsuke Nakamura.

Like every WWE pay-per-view, we can expect some surprise appearances on tonight's show as well. So without further ado, let’s take a look at three wrestlers who could make a surprise appearance tonight.

#3 Daniel Bryan

Roman Reigns was attacked by a mysterious personality over the past month. After weeks of searching, Reigns finally found out that Erick Rowan was the one behind the attacks on him. However, what was interesting was that he did it on his own and not on Daniel Bryan's orders, which was what everyone actually expected was happening.

Since being revealed as the attacker, Rowan has been on a path of destruction. A couple of weeks ago on SmackDown, he laid out both Reigns and Bryan to make a huge statement.

While Bryan is out of the picture right now, Reigns and Big Red Rowan will be locking horns tonight at Clash Of Champions in a no-disqualification match. There's a huge possibility that Bryan returns this during the match.

He will probably cost Rowan the match as he not only betrayed Bryan but also severely beat him down. Costing Rowan the match should be an easy job for Bryan as the match is a no-disqualification bout. Whatever happens, we can expect some more surprises in this twisted storyline moving forward.

#2 The Fiend

Seth Rollins is set to defend his Universal Championship for the first time in his second reign against The Monster Among Men Braun Strowman. Over the past few weeks, things have really heated up between the RAW Tag Team Champions.

It's obvious that Rollins won't be dropping the Universal Championship anytime soon. WWE has built him up as 'The Beast Slayer' throughout the entire year and won't book him to lose so easily, and in his first title defense since winning the belt at SummerSlam.

Since Strowman's chances of capturing the Universal title are very low and WWE wouldn't damage his credibility by booking him to lose clean, the match might end in a way that leaves both competitors as credible in the end.

In addition, the arena where Hell In A Cell is taking place is advertising 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt to either face Seth Rollins or Braun Strowman at the event, so there's a huge possibility that he attacks one of the two wrestlers at Clash Of Champions.

The Fiend interrupting the match will be the perfect finish as it will protect Strowman's credibility and also set up a huge title match against Rollins or Strowman at the next PPV.

#1 Finn Balor

Finn Balór hasn't had good luck in the ring over the past couple of months. He lost the Intercontinental Championship to Shinsuke Nakamura at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view. Following his loss against Nakamura, Balór became 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt's first victim.

Wyatt continuously played mind games with Balór which led to a match between the two at SummerSlam last month. The Fiend won against the former Intercontinental Champion in dominating fashion.

Following his loss against The Fiend, Balór took time off and went on to a vacation where he got married. He also changed his look and went bald.

It's been more than a month since Balór went off TV and it might be about time that he returns to the ring. However, he might return as a different man this time.

Fans have been speculating that Balór will join The OC when he returns. His new look is hinting that he might work as a heel in the future. The OC even offered to help him against The Fiend at SummerSlam.

While initial reports have stated that he plans on taking one more month off, Balor might surprise us and return at Clash Of Champions tonight and help AJ Styles in retaining the United States Championship against Cedric Alexander, thus establishing his spot as the 4th Good Brother.
