WWE Elimination Chamber 2014: Superstar Ratings

Wyatt Family

The Usos-6

The Usos

The Usos

Though the company gave special attention to build up the Usos as credible title contenders, Rikishi’s sons fell short when the time finally came. Maybe the company is waiting for a much bigger stage like the WrestleMania for the Usos to cash in because they deserve a title run sooner or later.

Randy Orton- 6

Randy Orton

Randy Orton

Orton winning the Elimination Chamber match and going on to face Batista at WrestleMania might’ve been the worst nightmare of the WWE fans in recent history.

Well from the looks of it that nightmare is going to become a reality as Orton walked out of the Chamber with both the titles on his shoulder. But as usual Orton underperformed leaving us wonders why the company still has the titles on him.

There was nothing vicious about Orton on this one also since his cowardly side ruled much of the match.

Sheamus- 7

Sheamus

Sheamus

Sheamus was given the job of complementing the big performers in the Elimination Chamber and he did the job in style.

Kicking Randy Orton through the pod stood out as a special moment from the whole show. but being eliminated first will cost Sheamus in the long run as he awaits for the next opponent before heading to WrestleMania.

John Cena- 7.5

John Cena

John Cena

Cena followed up well after his epic match against Cesaro on Raw and gave a great show inside the Chamber.

Eliminating Cesaro made it look like that Cesaro and Cena might have some more matches in near future, but all that doubts were cleared when he played victim for the creepy guys.

The future looks bright with Cena and Bray Wyatt in the picture as Cena might be heading back to being relevant with a strong storyline.

Christian – 7.5

Christian

Christian

A major portion of the IWC was cursing the WWE creative for putting Christian into the Elimination Chamber match. Well the veteran silenced all those critics with his performance in the chamber as he stood out as one of the top performers of the match.

Christian was clearly not going to win the match and go to WrestleMania, but in the time he had, Christian showed everyone why he still Is valued a lot by the WWE creative team.

Cesaro- 8

Cesaro

Cesaro

From swinging the champion 30 times to delivering a suplex to John Cena and Daniel Bryan at the same time, Cesaro made full use of the opportunity which was presented to him by the writers.

The Real American was red hot from the start itself and outclassed the lights of John Cena and Randy Orton when it came to the performance. Cesaro is surely a star in the making and with matches like this he could reach the top at the earliest.

Daniel Bryan-8.5

Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan

Bryan was screwed by the Authority again much to the misery of the fans. he delivered a class performance as usual but the ending involving Kane made the whole thing look like a waste.

He still remains as the most over superstar in the roster and it won’t be late till the crowd starts to invade the ring physically if the WWE continues to book Bryan like this. The feud with Authority looks eminent now and whatever they do with him, Bryan has to win at WrestleMania.

The Shield – 9

The Shield

The Shield

The anticipated breaking up of the Shield didn’t happen at the Elimination Chamber but instead the fans were gifted with a great match which kept the fans on the edge of their seats.

All the members of the Shield were well defined through the match as Seth Rollins turned out to be a surprise package. Dean Ambrose seemed like the one who wanted the fight more while Roman Reigns showed some more signs that he is here to be the face of the company.

A highly intense match with no signs of Shield breaking up, this means that we still could have one more from where this came from and hopefully it’s going to come fast.

The Wyatt Family- 9.5

Wyatt Family

Wyatt Family

The only reason why the creepy guys are ranked above the hounds of Justice is because of the impact that they made after the six man tag team match.

Shield- Wyatt encounter needs no more words now as it was a match that is going to stay in the memories for a long long time.

A win stamps Wyatt Family as the top faction in the company and also puts a clear hint that Bray Wyatt has a better push than the whole Shield combined together. The potential feud with Cena will also sky rocket his main event status and surely what we say in the ring last night was just glimpses of a future hall of famer in the making.
