WWE Main Event results

WWE Main Event returned to the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, for its weekly TV tapings, yesterday night.

The show opened up with Paul Heyman and Cesaro in the ring. Cesaro was wearing an eye patch as a result of his injury. Heyman stated that Kofi Kingston intentionally blinded his client so that he does not perform on the show. Heyman was later interrupted by Dolph Ziggler, followed by Big E who cut a promo about the Intercontinental Title.

Out came Ryback and Curtis Axel, followed by Rob Van Dam. Soon after, Ryback ends up tossed from the ring. A six man tag match between Big E, Dolph Ziggler and RVD vs. Curtis Axel, Ryback and Cesaro is announced for the show.

• Erick Rowan and Luke Harper vs. Xavier Woods and R-Truth. Rowan and Harper dominate most of the match. Ultimately, Rowan gets the win for his team.
• Nikki Bella and Alicia Fox vs. Cameron and Naomi. Cameron was dominant over Alicia who tagged in Nikki into the match. Nikki finally dropped Cameron and went for a tag, but Alicia hit her own partner and allowed Cameron to take cover for the win.
• Rob Van Dam, Dolph Ziggler and Big E vs. Cesaro, Curtis Axel and Ryback . At the end of the match, Ryback took out Big E. Soon after, its RVD who sent Ryback to the floor. Ziggler nailed a Zig Zag on Cesaro from behind for the win.
