#5 WWE's Alexa Bliss shows off her "temporary short hair"

Alexa Bliss has played one of the most controversial characters on Monday Night RAW lately, which has led to divisive reactions across social media. Bliss' supernatural gimmick is certainly a bizarre aspect of the RAW Women's Division, and it should be interesting to see how returning live crowds will react to her onscreen persona.

In a recent Instagram story, the WWE Superstar revealed a personal update to her followers. Bliss unveiled a new look with shorter hair. You can check out her temporary appearance in the screenshot posted below:

#4 WWE Hall of Famer Edge breaks character to praise Roman Reigns

Edge and Roman Reigns are currently feuding over the Universal Championship on WWE SmackDown. Reigns is set to defend the title against the WWE legend at Money in the Bank 2021.

While both stars have crossed paths several times this year, WWE's upcoming pay-per-view will be the first time they get to fight each other in one-on-one competition.

During the latest edition of WWE's The Bump, Edge explained how grateful he was to be an active competitor today. He also broke character, praising Roman Reigns and The Usos in the process.

"The fact that I'm even doing this, that for me, like I get lost for words sometimes when I stop and try to think about it because it's really overwhelming that I'm back in here doing this," said Edge. "And there are times, as cliche as it sounds, I gotta pinch myself. And I know when we get to Houston and I hear that audience, and I'm out there watching Rey hit 619s and then look over and Dom, who's almost my height now, going 'what, this is happening!' And we are here with The Usos, who to me are an all-time tag team, and Roman Reigns, who is clearly well on his way to being an all-time talent within the industry. Man, it's all just a gift. It really is. And that's how I'm attacking this whole thing. It's just awesome, I don't know how else to put it."

Edge is not the only veteran who has praised Roman Reigns recently.

Many industry experts, including The Undertaker, believe that Reigns is one of the most compelling WWE Superstars today.

#3 Murphy was confused about his WWE storyline direction with the Mysterio family

Last month, Murphy was released by WWE alongside a few other popular talents. The former Cruiserweight Champion's departure from the company isn't something many would have predicted in 2020, as he was involved in a high-profile feud between Seth Rollins and the Mysterio family.

While Murphy initially took part in the program as Rollins' disciple, he soon turned babyface and joined the father-son duo of Rey and Dominik Mysterio. A popular subplot from this angle revolved around Murphy's romance with Rey's daughter, Aalyah.

However, plans for his alliance with The Mysterios' were soon dropped by WWE. During a recent interview with Fightful, Murphy spoke about the lack of communication between him and the company regarding this storyline. At the time, he also texted Dominik about whether or not Aalyah was returning to television.

"Rey and Dominik are doing stuff and I'm like, 'what's going on?' Aalyah is not there. 'Do they need me?' I'm messaging Dominik like, 'Is Aalyah coming to TV?' There was no communication. She was asking her dad, I'm asking Dom and Rey. We had no idea. The dirt sheets said they had dropped the angle. How do the dirt sheets know before I do? I'm trying to track down Bruce [Prichard]. I track him down and I'm like, 'What's going on?' He's like, 'Yeah, we dropped it,''' said Murphy.

Before being let go by WWE, Murphy made sporadic appearances on SmackDown.

Following his recent release, the former WWE star intends to make a splash in different promotions once his non-compete clause expires on August 31.

#2 Watch Brock Lesnar's public appearance outside of WWE

Former WWE megastar Brock Lesnar's new ponytail look has got everyone talking. He made a public appearance not too long ago, and photos from it have gone viral all across social media.

Lesnar appeared in a YouTube video with The Bearded Butchers (Seth and Scott Perkins), where the eight-time WWE World Champion explored the art of butchering meat. The video has now been released, and the 44-year old star seems to be pretty down-to-earth in his latest out-of-character appearance.

You can watch The Bearded Butchers and Brock Lesnar's interactions below:

At the end of Lesnar's rare appearance, the hosts were given replica WWE and UFC titles. Additionally, The Beast Incarnate stated that he was honored to meet them.

“For me this was about getting together with like-minded, salt-of-the-earth people and fitting in, and these guys welcomed me into their butcher shop, welcomed me into their homes,” said Brock Lesnar. “What an honor it was, guys. I greatly appreciate it. It’s been awesome, thanks guys. Thank you very much.”

Recent reports indicate that plans to bring back Brock Lesnar for the SummerSlam event haven't worked out. However, he could return to WWE at some point later this year.

#1 Natalya praises Bayley's demeanor throughout WWE's ThunderDome era

WWE's weekly episodes inside the ThunderDome are now over. The company returns to live touring from the July 16th edition of SmackDown, and fans are certainly looking forward to it.

One of the most successful stars in WWE's ThunderDome era was Bayley, who is currently out of action due to an injury. Now, WWE Women's Tag Team Champion Natalya has praised her during the latest edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's InSide Kradle.

"She [Bayley] really made work better. She made work better for everyone and she was just such a rock star during the ThunderDome Era," said Natalya. "Even though she played the role of a bad girl on TV, she just made everything fun."

Natalya also mentioned how Bayley improvised her approach to WWE during the absence of a live crowd. She added that the currently injured star has been an inspiration to many people backstage.

"She reminded all of us that... we may not have all the resources that we want, because we don't have our audience right in front of us, but let's interact with each other." Natalya continued, "Let's yell at Michael Cole. Let's be silly. Let's be goofy. Let's turn it up. Let's just make the best out of this. So she's truly been an inspiration to myself and so many others at work."

Bayley is expected to be out of action for nine months. Will you miss her presence on WWE television?
