In case you didn't know...

Drew McIntyre has had a career resurgence in his second run with WWE, and has emerged to become possibly the top heel on the Red Brand. He went on to battle Roman Reigns in a marquee match at WrestleMania 35, in a losing effort.

McIntyre is being positioned on Monday nights as a top candidate and a main-event mainstay for the forseeable future. This past week, a rumor revealed seven participants who would be a part of the Men's Money In The Bank match, with McIntyre being one of them.

The heart of the matter

The Scottish Psychopath posted a tweet recently, stating that outside powers are preventing him from bagging his first Universal Title opportunity. He added that a chance at winning the coveted briefcase would transfer the power to him. Here's the message in it's entirety:

Considering what happened last week on #Raw it appears outside forces are preventing me from getting my first opportunity at the Universal title. A chance at winning #MITB would put the power completely in my hands...you can only delay the inevitable

What's next?

Drew McIntyre certainly has the right look and decent mic skills, two essential factors for one to become a top Superstar. A win at the upcoming PPV could possibly kick start his ascension to the top of Monday Night Raw.
