WWE RAW 30th November 2015 - 5 Promising developments

ECW throwback!

The heels stand tall at the endIt is important that we have some very bad WWE episodes so that when something good actually happens we're happier than ever before. The good episodes have more impact and are more effective that way. But having such appalling episodes in the middle of a TV ratings slump is a bit too much to fathom. But, as they say, you never know what clicks and what does not.Tonight, Reigns was the knight in shining armor as is expected of the WWE to book him, as he attempted to win a match against Sheamus in under 5 minutes 15 seconds. Even though it's been difficult to look for the good in this episode, here are the 5 promising developments from this week’s Raw-

#6 Honorable Mention - Dreamer returns

ECW throwback!

It wasnt as awesome as you would expect, but it still fell in the awesome territory.

The Dudley Boyz came out with their tables and they highlighted that the Wyatts surely have the numbers advantage. The Wyatts intruded and then The Dudleys called someone from their own family. That wasn't Spike Dudley, but someone from their ECW family.

Dreamer came out to the delight of the audience and this was the one moment throughout the night that got a huge reaction. The Dudleys and Dreamer are all there to put The Wyatt Family over, but this night was memorable because of this very segment.

#5 Lana is back

Back together

Well, even though they were involved in the cheesiest segment of Raw this year, Rusev and Lana are better together.

That doesn’t really mean as a couple in general but as an alliance of superstar and manager. They were both pretty effective characters and over as heels as long as they were shown to be a professional partnership.

WWE bringing the romantic angle into this picture may not work, but we can only hope that they go back to what really worked with these two and don’t give us another wedding segment in the hostory of wedding segments to live through.

Lana should become the fierce manager that she was instead of a damsel in distress.

#4 Some gimmick, this

Ryback vs Rusev is set to continue

Well, Ryback has had many attempts at getting over with the audience, but something or the other goes missing eventually.

For the second week in a row, he interrupted something completely unnecessary. Like Lana and Rusev professing their love for each other. So, Ryback came out to put a stop to all of this. This looks promising since it’s always great in having someone interrupt something that is either pointless, unnecessary or boring.

It looks like, though, that Rusev and Ryback will be continuing this feud of theirs that was ended abruptly early this year.

#3 Lynch vs Charlotte

Lynch was again defeated this week

Not that this match was great, but this was a silver lining on one of the worst episodes of Raw.

It was one step closer to showing cracks within the team of Becky Lynch and Charlotte. The crowd did not even react to Lynch making her way to the ring, but Lynch is slowly but steadily growing into a terrific babyface.

The Divas division really needs somebody like that.

On the other hand, Charlotte faked an injury and was aided by a distraction by her very own father. She called it strategy and, Lynch getting influenced into believing this is the ‘big league’ way of doing things was the Divas Champion’s validation to the Lass Kicker.

Certainly a big plus for a possible storyline to take place.

#2 Looking forward

Paige has always been a better heel

Paige isn’t the most legendary person to have on commentary but she played her part well of being and staying true to being a heel.

She was certainly entertaining. She chose to give Byron Saxton the cold shoulder and called Ric Flair “a rash that just won’t go away”. And then we had a glimpse of Sasha Banks standing and trying to care about the match between Lynch and Charlotte.

Paige acknowledged that moment and said that Banks wishes she could be in Paige’s position.

Well, if that’s any indication, Banks may be the next challenger in line for the Divas title. Something, seriously, to look forward to.

#1 League of Nations

Sheamus has new allies now.

Okay, so they’ve put four supremely talented superstars who just haven’t been booked well together to form the League of Nations.

This is a hit or miss strategy, but since it just took place tonight, we’re going to give it the benefit of the doubt. Sheamus is now the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and that comes with a lot of attention, so it’s great for anybody who allies themselves with him.

That’s why we can expect something great from all the other 3 superstars involved- Del Rio, Rusev and Barrett. Just hope they don’t become redundant.

Bayley gives us a HUGE update on a top Superstar's upcoming return RIGHT HERE.
