WWE SummerSlam card: 8 huge matches set for the PPV

John Cena vs Brock Lesnar for the WWE World title

WWE SummerSlam is due just over a week’s time and we already have eight big matches in store for the WWE universe that are waiting to go down at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on August 17, 2014.

This year's PPV features meaningful bouts with the stakes set really high. WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena is going to face the biggest challenge of his life in the form of Brock Lesnar who will do anything it takes to dethrone Cena and take away his belts. Roman Reigns will have to tame the crazy voices in Randy Orton’s head while the other Lunatic Fringe Dean Ambrose will be battling against his former Shield team mate Seth Rollins.

The Divas section is all fired up as the WWE universe will get to see the much awaited encounter between Paige and Champion AJ Lee. Also, IC champion Miz will be taking on no.1 contender Dolph Ziggler for the title.

WWE’s biggest party of the summer has set the bar really high and by the looks of the matchcard and in terms of the strong background of these matches, it can potentially turn out to be a better PPV than the grandest event of the year, Wrestlemania.
