BIO: Yuvraj Singh is an Indian cricketer and the son of former Indian fast bowler Yograj Singh. He has been a member of the Indian cricket team since 2000 (ODIs) and played his first Test match in 2003. Yuvraj arrived with a bang on the cricket scene with an astounding innings of 85 runs off just 82 balls in his second ODI against a formidable Australian bowling attack in the 2000 ICC Champions Trophy. Impetuous in nature, he is always described as exhibiting extreme behavior on the field. There are times when he can hit the ball as clean and long as it has ever been hit. And then there are other times when his lack of footwork makes one wonder whether he can play at all.   Yuvraj Singh was the vice-captain of the ODI team from 2007-2008 during which he performed the uncanny feat that would make him a household name in Indian cricket - he hit six sixes in an over against England's Stuart Broad, a feat performed only three times previously in any form of senior cricket, and never previously in an international match between two Test cricket nations. He was named the Man of the Tournament in the 2011 Cricket World Cup and was one of the top performers at the 2007 World Twenty20, both of which India won. He was conferred with the Arjuna Award, India's second highest sporting award, in the year 2012 by President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee.
