4 Things you need to know about WWE Raw Reunion 

At the moment, WWE is preparing for the upcoming Raw Reunion episode as many legends are confirmed to make their appearance at the show. Fans are also excited for this episode and they are hoping that WWE won’t disappoint them.

While it’s not confirmed whether or not Superstars like The Rock, John Cena and Batista are going to show up next week, there’s always a chance that WWE could have a surprise planned for us. And because many legends are already confirmed to appear on Monday night, fans may not miss those who don't appear.

WWE has held similar shows like these in the past and they always proved to be beneficial for the company. And, WWE officials might be hoping for the same to happen this year as well. Raw is only a few hours away and before the event takes place, you should know these 4 things about it.

#4 3 Former WWE Superstars have already denied appearing at the show

Raw Reunion is going to be one of the biggest shows in WWE history. After all, more than 35 legends, at the moment of writing this article, are confirmed to appear on Monday.

Vince McMahon also invited some former WWE Superstars to appear at the show and while some of them agreed to this, others rejected the offer. So far, reports have only revealed three such names and they are: Bret Hart, Jim Ross, and Bubba Ray Dudley.

While we don’t know why Hart and Dudley refused to appear in this special episode of Raw, it’s worth noting that Jim Ross could have rejected this offer because he's already signed with AEW. According to a report, Tony Khan had no problem with Ross appearing at Raw but it was the latter's call to reject the invitation.

#3 The reason this show is taking place

As per Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, USA Network executives were behind the idea of this special episode. In the past few months (years?), Raw and SmackDown have only suffered losses in terms of viewership. WWE tried multiple strategies to improve the ratings but most of them failed. If things don’t get fixed in time then it will hurt WWE and help its competition to grow at a much faster rate. With the likes of Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan and more appearing at the show, it wouldn’t be shocking if Raw gets its highest viewership of 2019. But, it wouldn’t end their problems.

Legends are reuniting for a single episode only but what happens next? Next week’s episode of Raw will only provide some momentum to WWE and it's their job to think how they keep the ball rolling.

#2 Mick Foley might win the 24/7 Championship

If I'm not wrong, the 24/7 Championship is the most sought after title in WWE right now. R-Truth (and Drake Maverick) have done a great job making it the best thing in WWE right now. So far, multiple Superstars have won the 24/7 Title and at the time of writing this article, Truth is the current champion. Recently, Mick Foley tweeted that he isn't coming to Raw only for the reunion but also for the 24/7 Title.

I’m not coming back to #RAW just for the sake of coming back. I’m coming back to bring my baby home! #RAWReunion

And since this title has already had some memorable moments, it wouldn't be shocking if Foley (or another WWE legend) wins the 24/7 Championship and then loses it to someone else.

#1 The possibility of multiple clashes at the show

With many Superstars of the past returning to the WWE ring once again, there are endless possibilities. And in such a hostile environment, it wouldn’t be shocking if these legends clash with the current wrestlers.

Imagine Steve Austin confronting Becky Lynch (or perhaps Kevin Owens). Yes, they wouldn't fight each other but it'll still create an epic moment that would be worth watching. Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, and many other Superstars will also be present during Raw, and who knows, they might as well clash with some younger talents.

Baron Corbin and Kurt Angle will also be in the same building and the Olympic Gold Medalist would likely hit Corbin with the Angle Slam and then apply the ankle lock.
