My Hero Academia is home to a myriad of Quirks, which are superhuman-like abilities that are indicative of the next step in human evolution. These abilities vary in range. Some are mundane and nearly useless, while others are incredibly powerful.

Shota Aizawa’s Erasure Quirk falls under the latter category. It is versatile both in direct combat and when used in a support role.

However, Erasure is not all-powerful as it doesn't affect Mutant-type Quirks, such as Principal Nezu’s High Spec.

Here are 10 people and Quirks in My Hero Academia on whom Aizawa’s Erasure won’t work.

Note: Power systems in My Hero Academia are complicated. Shota Aizawa's Quirk is yet to be explored and better explained in the series.

Principal Nezu, 9 other My Hero Academia characters and Quirks that are unaffected by Erasure

1) Manga Fukidashi, Comic

Manga Fukidashi is a comic-headed boy (hence, the Quirk Comic) who can manifest onomatopoeia in the real world by speaking to them. For example, using the onomatopoeia for “DAMP” creates letters that act as a humidifier.

Since Comic is a Mutant-type Quirk, Aizawa’s Erasure would be unable to stop its effects.

2) Gang Orca, Orcinus

Orcinus is a Quirk possessed by Gang Orca, whose real name is Kugo Sakamata. The Quirk is a summation of the various Killer Orca-like abilities that Sakamata can use.

Orcinus gives Gang Orca boosted speed and strength, as well as a much larger stature, all of which are unaffected by Aizawa’s Erasure Quirk.

Like others on the list, Orcinus' simplicity makes it one of the few My Hero Academia Quirks that can’t be Erased.

3) Mezo Shoji, Dupli-Arms

With Dupli-Arms, Mezo Shoji is able to use tentacles alongside his real arms. The tips of the tentacles can transform into various body parts, ranging from eyes and ears to extra hands.

Even injuries to these extra limbs will not be a problem since they will become functional again once they are healed. As a Mutant-type Quirk, Aizawa’s Erasure can do nothing to stop Dupli-Arms.

4) Toru Hagakure, Invisibility

Invisibility grants Toru Hagakure the (unfortunately) always-on power of being completely and utterly invisible. Her Quirk also appears to involve a degree of light manipulation and refraction, though My Hero Academia hasn’t explained this yet.

Being a Mutant-type Quirk that even Hagakure can’t control, Aizawa’s Erasure won’t do a thing to this incredibly unique Quirk.

5) Principal Nezu, High Spec

Principal Nezu is one of My Hero Academia’s smartest characters. His High Spec Quirk is solely geared toward enhancing his intelligence. As a Mutant-type Quirk, it cannot be deactivated by Erasure.

High Spec gives Principal Nezu the ability to talk, feel, and think like a human. He is even capable of formulating brilliant and complex plans.

6) Fourth Kind, Quad Arms

Fourth Kind’s Quirk, Quad Arms, does nothing but provide him with an extra pair of arms. However, Aizawa’s Erasure will have no effect on him as it won't be able to “Erase” the extra arms Fourth Kind’s Quirk provides.

Quad Arms' simplicity solidifies it as one of the few My Hero Academia Quirks unaffected by Erasure.

7) Centipeder, Centipede

Centipeder’s Centipede Quirk morphs his body into that of a centipede. While Aizawa’s Erasure may limit the ways in which he can use these appendages, it’ll never be able to fully erase the Quirk.

Despite being a somewhat minor character in My Hero Academia, Centipeder is unaffected by Erasure.

8) Pop Off, Minoru Mineta

Mineta’s Pop-Off Quirk allows him to produce sticky spheres on his head, which can be plucked painlessly to a certain point. The spheres also regrow almost instantly, giving him a near-infinite supply.

As a Mutant-type Quirk, Pop Off is immune to complete and total erasure via Aizawa’s Quirk.

9) Selkie, Spotted Seal

Selkie's Spotted Seal is a Mutant-type anthropomorphic Quirk, which transforms the user into a seal-like appearance.

Selkie has the ability to do anything a regular seal can do, even on land. The Quirk also provides him with enhanced strength, agility, swimming speed, and diving depths.

Like many others on this list, Spotted Seal is one of the few My Hero Academia Quirks that Erasure cannot fully erase due to its Mutant-type nature.

10) Mashirao Ojiro, Tail

Ojiro’s Tail Quirk gives him an extra appendage that resembles a tail and can be used with complete control.

As a body-based Mutant-type Quirk, Tail cannot be affected by Erasure. Like Fourth Kind’s Quad Arms, Erasure can’t make the tail disappear, making it useless to use against Ojiro.

In summation

There are numerous characters in the series who have mutant-like quirks that Aizawa is unable to deal with. However, it is crucial to keep in mind that Aizawa has worked extremely hard and made many sacrifices to become an outstanding hero who mentors the next generation of heroes.
