As fans might remember, by the end of the fight between Ochako Uraraka and Himiko Toga in My Hero Academia's Final War Arc, Ochako was mortally injured. Nevertheless, she survived as when she was close to death, Himiko Toga surprisingly decided to save her. So, how did Himiko Toga save Uraraka Ochako in My Hero Academia?

In the series, Himiko Toga and Ochako Uraraka had been fated to fight each other for a long time. This was hinted at by the number of times Himiko interacted with Ochako and the way she grew obsessed with her. Hence, Boku no Hero Academia's Final War Arc saw the two having their long-awaited fight. While Toga technically won her fight, it was Ochako who survived.

My Hero Academia: How did Himiko Toga save Ochako Uraraka from the verge of death?

Himiko Toga saved Uraraka Ochako by performing a blood transfusion. At the end of the fight between Ochako and Himiko, the hero tries to reach out to the villain. Nevertheless, Himiko ended up stabbing Ochako's abdomen, leaving her mortally wounded.

Himiko was jealous of Ochako Uraraka's blessed life and was certain Ochako would never be able to relate to her. However, Ochako did not stop reaching out to Himiko. She admitted her feelings for Himiko and offered to give the villain her blood for as long as she lived, bringing Himiko to tears.

Right after, Ochako shared her past and admitted her feelings for Izuku Midoriya. Himiko was still prepared to stab Ochako once more but eventually stopped. She shared her past and revealed that she could never ask her childhood crush, Saito, for his blood due to societal norms. Ochako knew Himiko had a traumatic past but could not notice it sooner.

Himiko then asked Ochako if she was cute. In response, Ochako expressed that Himiko Toga was the cutest in the whole world. Following their moment, Himiko Toga then took a closer look at Ochako's grave injuries and realized that she was about to die. However, Himiko could no longer envision a future without Ochako; hence, she decided to save her.

Himiko Toga willingly performed a blood transfusion on Ochako, saving her the same way Twice saved her. Ochako tried to stop Himiko, but the villain continued the procedure and called the hero weird. Moments later, both characters passed out. Himiko apologized to Ochako for stabbing her and thanked her for reaching out to her.

With the My Hero Academia manga having begun its epilogue chapters, fans expected to learn Himiko Toga's status after the war. However, the manga series has yet to reveal it. In fact, none of the villain's statuses have been unveiled till now. The only villain fans know the manga will focus on soon is Dabi.

As for Ochako's status, she has seemingly recovered from her injuries and returned to her daily life as a U.A. High School student.
