In I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! episode 11, Evil Lord, the fight reaches a turning point as Liam unleashes a full-scale attack on the Goaz Pirates. This begins with him easily destroying their mobile knight ranks. Liam views their reliance on sheer numbers as their only advantage and labels them as weak but otherwise useful due to the bounty on their heads.

As the battle progresses, his aggressive and ruthless tactics impress Christina, who observes with growing fascination. Some of the mobile knights on Liam’s side, who were once Christina's subordinates when she was a princess, remark that Christina is seeking something else. They note that she is breaking down.

Liam enters the command room of the pirate ship. Goaz's second-in-command offers Liam information in exchange for mercy, claiming he knows the location of the treasure. However, Liam executes him, ignoring his pleas.

Witnessing this, the Guide—expecting Liam's demise—grows irritated. He's furious about Liam's increasing power and resilience, particularly because Liam seems grateful to him for turning the pirates against him. Trouble soon arrives. Liam gets an emergency transmission: Goaz has launched an unexpected attack, and none of their defenses are effective. When Liam faces the newly transformed Goaz, he cuts off his arm with the newly discovered katana. But Goaz regenerates immediately and retaliates. A vicious exchange then follows, with Liam continuously dismembering Goaz, only for him to recover again and again.

Realizing he's losing, Goaz pleads for mercy and offers his treasure in exchange for his life. Liam declines the offer instantly, saying he has already taken all of Goaz's treasure and that Goaz himself is merely a bounty. One of Liam's officers cautions, though, that capturing Goaz alive would be risky—his tough body has already killed many of their own. Since the bounty is the same, dead or alive, Liam chooses to kill Goaz.

After the intense battle, Liam returns to his ship, where Amagi awaits him.
