On Friday, June 6, 2025, the official website and X account for The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity anime unveiled a new promotional video and second key visual. The short clip revealed the anime's July 5, 2025, release date, theme songs, and their artists. Additionally, the details concerning the show's advanced screening have arrived.
Under the production of Cloverworks, The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity anime is an adaptation of Saka Mikami's romance drama manga series of the same name. Kodansha's Magazine Pocket has been serializing the series since October 2021, with 15 volumes released so far.

According to the latest promotional clip from the official staff, The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity anime will air its episodes every Saturday at 12:30 am JST from July 5, 2025, on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and BS11 networks. The series will also air on AT-X and MBS at a later time. The series will be digitally distributed on Netflix worldwide.
Prior to the broadcast, The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity anime will have an advance screening event at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills in Tokyo on June 29, 2025. The voice actors of Rintaro, Kaoruko, Shohei, Ayato, and Subaru will appear at the stage event.
The new The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity anime trailer captures Rintaro and Kaoruko's heartwarming chemistry. In the PV, Rintaro is amazed to discover that Kaoruko is from Kikyo, a school known for despising the students from Chidori, an all-boys high school next to Kikyo.

Furthermore, the staff unveiled a new key visual for The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity anime. The illustration depicts Rintaro Tsumugi and Kaoruko Waguri walking and looking at each other. Set against a vibrant blue sky, the visual highlights Kaoruko and Rintaro's sweet friendship.

The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity anime stars Yoshinori Nakayama as Rintaro Tsumugi, Honoka Inoue as Kaoruko Waguri, Koki Uchiyama as Saku Natsusawa, Kikonosuke Toya as Shohei Usami, Hiiro Ishibasi as Ayato, and Aya Yamane as Subaru.
Miyuki Kuroki directs the romance anime at CloverWorks, with Satoshi Yamaguchi as the associate director. Rino Yamazaki handles the series scripts, while Kohei Tokuoka is the character designer and chief animation director. Moeki Harada is the music composer, while Haruka Tsuzuki is the show's technical director.

Based on the original manga series, the anime follows Rintaro Tsumugi, a student from Chidori High School, and Kaoruko Waguri, a student from Kikyo High. The story begins when Rintaro has a chance encounter with Kaoruko while helping at his family's patisserie.
The duo immediately feels an attraction. Yet, their peace is disturbed when Rintaro finds out that Kaoruko is from Kikyo Girls, a school known to hate students from Chidori. The romance anime will showcase Kaoruko and Rintaro's mesmerizing bond.
