Soka wonders whether the tournament's winner will join the Shion, Diablo, and Benimaru in the Big Four, or opt for a challenge against Rimuru.

Following that, the chapter delves into a flashback scene, where Diablo, Benimaru, and Shion request Rimuru to let them participate in the tournament. However, the Slime knows that they are guaranteed to win if they take part. Suddenly, he gets an idea.

He appoints the trio to a new post, The Big Four, and plans to give the fourth position to the one who can expose Masayuki's true strength in the tournament. The episode then returns to the present, where Soka commences the main battles of the Tempest Battle Tournament.
