According to the latest PlayStation blog, the upcoming console enables graphical enhancements like advanced ray tracing, PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, and more. With Black Ops 6 being updated for the latest console, we can expect all these visual enhancements in the Call of Duty title as well. Which means, Call of Duty will look and feel better than ever on a PlayStation.

Black Ops 6 currently supports Sony's PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. These are currently the two most recent versions of the console that you can play BO6 on. However, in September 2024, Sony announced their next console upgrade, the PS5 Pro.
The PS5 Pro will be released on November 7, 2024. It will be an improvement on the PS5 and will be priced at $699.99 and $999.99 depending on the model you decide to purchase.
Sony confirmed that BO6 will be updated to support the PlayStation 5 Pro. The current version of the game will likely not run on the new console. However, developers at Treyarch have about a month to fully optimize the game for the PS5 Pro and we can expect an update exclusively for the PS5 Pro soon.
Console enthusiasts can pre-order the PS5 Pro from the official Sony website. However, do note that Sony has imposed a limit of one console per order due to high demand.
