In his last game, a 2024 National Invitation Tournament loss to Georgia, Battle reached the 2,000-point milestone in his career. The Toronto Raptors signed Battle on July 16, 2024, after he was not selected in the 2024 NBA draft. On October 19, Toronto changed his contract to a two-way one.
