Johnson began her college basketball career with South Carolina Gamecocks, where her name was enlisted in the All-SEC and NCAA Albany 1 Regional All-Tournament Team in 2024 and the SEC All-Freshman Team in 2023. She was also honored with the SEC Academic Honor Roll thrice, in 2022, 2023, and 2024, as per her college roster. She is a two-time Atlanta Tipoff Club Miss Georgia Basketball winner, which she won in 2020 and 2021, and won Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Player of the Year two times, in 2020 and 2021.
