King began her collegiate basketball career at Pittsburg. As a freshman at Pittsburgh, she attended 19 games and averaged 5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 14.3 minutes per game. King was the fourth-most player to record 4.6 rpg rebounds. King concluded her season shooting 46.1% from the floor and this ranked her third on the team. As a sophomore in the 2021-22 season, she played in 26 games and started 16 of them at the power forward position. King concluded the season with 19.8 minutes, 7.5 points, and 7.1 rebounds per game on average.
