Alan Bowman is a college football quarterback for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, representing the Oklahoma State University. He joined the Oklahoma State Cowboys in 2023. He previously plied his trade with the Michigan Wolverines football team, representing the University of Michigan from 2021 to 2022, and the Texas Tech Red Raiders football team from 2018 to 2020.

Bowman commenced his collegiate football career at Texas Tech in 2018, where he played eight games with seven starts and won the starting job in week two, becoming the sixth true freshman to start in Texas Tech history. Throughout his college football career, Bowman has received several honors, including being named to the 2023 CSC Academic All-District Team, 2020 First Team Academic All-Big 12, and 2019 First Team Academic All-Big 12.

Bowman received an eligibility extension due to a season-ending injury in 2019 which led him to decide to return to Oklahoma State for his second year and his seventh year of college football.
