His performance earned him First-Team All-SEC honors from the coaches, Phil Steele, and Pro Football Focus, as well as Second-Team honors from the Associated Press. Wells Jr. also received the prestigious Steve Spurrier Award, recognizing him as the team's offensive MVP.
