
Harrison Taggart is a college football linebacker for the BYU Cougars. Prior to the Cougars, Taggart was a part of the Oregon Ducks. Taggart attended Corner Canyon High School, where he excelled as a football player. During his high school career, Harrison Taggart was recognized as a consensus top-40 linebacker nationally and received multiple accolades for his performance. He helped lead the Chargers to an impressive 40-2 record, securing two state championships and finishing as state runner-up once. Over his three years as a letterman, he accumulated 237 tackles (151 solo), 22 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles. His ability to perform under pressure was evident in playoff scenarios, where he recorded 64 tackles across eight games. Taggart's high school achievements earned him significant recognition. He was named a MaxPreps Preseason Second Team All-American in 2021 and received First Team All-State honors from both MaxPreps and Deseret News in 2020 and 2021.
