Jalon Nicholas Walker is an American football linebacker for the Georgia Bulldogs. He won the Butkus Award, given to the nation's top linebacker, in 2024. Walker is from Conway, South Carolina, and attended Salisbury High School in Salisbury, North Carolina. He was named the 2021 North Carolina Gatorade Football Player of the Year after recording 79 tackles and eight sacks.
Walker played all 15 games in his freshman year in 2022, recording nine tackles and one sack. He helped Georgia win the National Championship over TCU. In 2023, he played in all 14 games, tallying 20 tackles and five sacks. As a junior in 2024, he was named a first-team All-American and won the Butkus Award. Walker declared for the 2025 NFL Draft on January 6, 2025.
