
Lane Kiffin has been a football head coach for the Ole Miss Rebels since 2020. Kiffin played collegiate football for the Fresno State Bulldogs and graduated in 1998. He played as a backup quarterback before transitioning into a coach. He began his coaching career as the offensive coordinator at USC for the 2005 season and committed to the NFL team Oakland Raiders in 2007 as their head coach. He became the youngest NFL head coach and the youngest BCS Conference head coach when he signed for the USC Trojans. He coached at the Tennessee Volunteers in 2009 and returned to USC in 2010. Kiffin became the second head coach in Ole Miss history, after the legendary coach John Vaught, to win 10 games in a single season twice. He finished the season leading the fewest turnovers (7) and fifth turnover margin (+11) in the country.
