Shreyas Iyer has impressed everyone with the chances he has gotten so far. He has played only six ODIs for India and averages 42 with two 50+ scores. Despite the middle-order conundrum India had for the past three years, Shreyas was not given a continuous run he deserved.

The 23-year-old Mumbaikar is one of the gifted cricketers of this generation and scored tons of runs in the domestic circuit. He has scored 4,193 runs from his 50 first-class games. He boasts an average of 51.76 with 11-hundreds. In List A, he averages 42 with five centuries.

Now that India as zeroed down their middle-order with Ambati Rayudu, Kedhar Jadhav and Rishabh Pant, Shreyas must be resigned to the fact that his chances of making into India's ODI World cup are infinitesimal.

However, the Delhi Daredevils captain will definitely be considered for World T20. He has been consistent with Daredevils for the past two years. He has scored 411 and 388 runs in the past two seasons respectively.

Should he continue his rich domestic form for the next two years, he will unquestionably be one of the 15 members of India's World T20 squad.
