Cricket will return to the Asian Games 2023 Cricket Schedule after an eight-year break this year. Men’s and Women’s cricket will be a part of the Asiad in Hangzhou, China. The Asian Games Cricket Schedule for the cricket event came out recently.
The last time cricket was included in the Asiad was in Incheon in 2014. Sri Lanka won the gold medal in the men's cricket event, while Pakistan clinched the gold in women’s cricket.

India will participate in men’s and women’s cricket for the first time in Asian Games 2023 Cricket Schedule (officially 2022). The BCCI has named a second-string Indian men’s squad for the tournament, while a full-strength women’s team will represent India.
A majority of India’s top men’s cricket stars will be busy with the Cricket World Cup, which is why Ruturaj Gaikwad will lead a second-string team. India have earned a direct entry into the quarterfinals of the Asian Games. Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh will also play in the quarterfinals directly.
Afghanistan will have to defeat Mongolia to earn a place in the quarterfinals. Meanwhile, Nepal, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Bahrain, Cambodia, Maldives, and Thailand will compete for the other three spots in the quarterfinal lineup of men’s cricket as per the Asian Games 2023 Cricket Schedule.

Similarly, in women’s cricket also, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh have qualified for the quarterfinal round directly. Afghanistan does not have a women’s team. The other nations in the women’s cricket tournament are Indonesia, Mongolia, Hong Kong, and Malaysia.
According to Asian Games Cricket Schedule 2023, women’s cricket will take place from September 19 to 25, followed by the men's cricket tournament from September 27 to October 7. The venue for all the matches is Zhejiang University of Technology Cricket Field in Hangzhou.
