India’s Asian Games Schedule 2023 for the men’s and women’s cricket has been announced. The BCCI has allowed the Indian cricket teams to participate in the Asian Games for the first time. This competition will take place in Hangzhou.
The men’s and women’s Asian Games cricket schedule will happen from September 19 to October 7. The host for all matches will be the Zhejiang University of Technology Pingfeng Cricket field.
Ruturaj Gaikwad will captain the Indian men’s cricket team. A majority of India’s first-choice men’s players will be busy with the Cricket World Cup, which is why the BCCI selection committee has named a second-string squad for Asian Games 2023.
Meanwhile, India’s full-strength women’s team will travel to Hangzhou for this multi-nation tournament. The Indian team is among the top-ranked teams in the world. As a result, the Men and Women in Blue have earned a direct entry into the knockout round of the Asian Games 2023 tournament.

India Womens Asian Games cricket schedule team will open their Asian Games 2023 campaign in the quarterfinals round on October 3. Their opponent is yet to be decided. The match will start as per India Womens Asian Games cricket schedule at 7:00 AM IST (9:30 AM Local Time).

If India win the quarterfinal match, the Women in Blue will earn a place in the semifinals, which will take place on October 6. Irrespective of the result in the semifinals, India will qualify for the medal round. If they win the semifinal, they will play the gold medal match on October 7. In case of a defeat in the semifinal, India will have to play in the bronze medal match.

India’s men's team has also earned a direct entry into the quarterfinals round. Ruturaj Gaikwad and co. will play the quarterfinal match on October 3 at 7:00 AM IST. If they win the match, they will progress further into the tournament.

India’s quarter final opponent has not been announced yet. The Men in Blue will play one of the top teams from the group stage of the competition. The group stage features Nepal, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Bahrain, Cambodia, Maldives and Thailand. Afghanistan and Mongolia will also be playing a quarter final qualifier match.
As per IST, India’s quarter final match will start at 7:00 am on October 3. The semifinal match’s timings will be confirmed after the quarterfinals, while the final match is scheduled to start at 12:00 pm on October 7.
The medal matches for the men's cricket tournament will happen on October 7 in Hangzhou.
