The much-awaited IPL 2023 auction will take place in Kochi on 23rd December, 2022.
The IPL 2023 mini-auction will commence at 2:30 PM IST, and during the course of the afternoon, a total of 405 cricketers will go under the hammer. The IPL 2023 Auction Live Streaming will be available on different platforms within India and other countries.
Out of these 405 cricketers, 273 are Indians while 132 are from other nations (including four from the associate nations.)
Initially, as many as 991 players- 714 Indians and 277 foreign players-had registered for the mini-auction, and the BCCI had decided to shortlist just 369. But, later the franchises requested the Indian board to add 36 more to the list.
A total of 87 slots will be up for grabs at the IPL 2023 auction, with a maximum of 30 for overseas players.

IPL 2023 Auction Live Streaming/Telecast Details (Country-wise)
The IPL 2023 auction will be telecasted on TV on the Star Sports Network in India. The live streaming, on the other hand, will be done by Viacom18’s Jio Cinema App,
Earlier this year, Star India Network bagged the TV broadcasting rights of the IPL for the 2023-27 cycle for a whopping INR 23,575 crores. Viacom18, on the other hand, won the digital rights at the expense of 23,578 crores.
