N Srinivasan's son-in-law linked to IPL betting case

Gurunath Meiyappan, who is Narayanaswami Srinivasan’s son-in-law, has been linked to the highly-controversial IPL betting case and it is believed that the police will be questioning him soon.

Meiyappan, who is the team principal and CEO of Chennai Super Kings, was linked to the case after the arrest of Bollywood actor Vindoo Dara Singh. Vindoo Dara Singh has reportedly admitted that he was in touch with a relative of the CSK franchise owner and source of Mumbai Police have claimed that Vindoo Singh used to place bets on behalf of Guru Meiyappan.

However, the police have said that they don’t have any evidence with regard to fixing yet, but there is clear evidence of some heavy betting.

Earlier today, some cash was recovered from Vindoo Singh’s residence when the police conducted a raid at his residence in Mumbai.
