Robin Minz is a professional cricket wicket-keeper batsman who plays in Indian domestic cricket and the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was born on September 13, 2022, in Gumla, Jharkhand. He came from a state where MS Dhoni used to play. Minz was also coached by Chanchal Bhattacharya, who also coached MS Dhoni is the past. He made it into the IPL when the Gujarat Titans (GT) franchise bought him in the IPL 2024 auction. He missed the whole tournament due to a motorcycle accident, just before the commencement of the tournament.
Robin Minz made his First-Class (FC) debut for Jharkhand on October 26, 2024 against Chandigarh at Jamshedpur. He scored 12 and 16 runs in his debut game across two innings. Furthermore, he made his T20 debut against Jammu and Kashmir in Mumbai on November 23, 2024. He registered a first-ball duck in his debut T20 game. GT franchise released him before the IPL 2025 auction and Mumbai Indians (MI) bought him for INR 65 lakhs. He made his IPL debut against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on March 23, 2025, at MA Chidambaram Stadium. As of April 11, 2025, Robin Minz has played just two FC games, nine domestic T20 games and two IPL games.
