Most Wickets - 2021
In 2021, P Saravana Kumar of the Ruby Trichy Warriors took the most wickets in the TNPL. He has 13 wickets and a BBI of 3/24 in nine matches. He averaged 19.30 and 14.7 strike rate during the course of the competition, with a 7.84 economy.
Most Wickets - 2019
The Chepauk Super Gillies' G Periyaswamy took the most wickets in the TNPL in 2019. He got 21 wickets in nine matches, with a BBI of 5/15. He averaged 10.47 and 6.47 economy rates throughout the competition, with a strike rate of 9.7.
TNPL Most Wickets - 2018
Idream Karaikudi Kaalai took 54 wickets in the entire series, and Lyca Kovai Kings took 53 wickets in TNPL 2018. Idream Karaikudi Kaalai won the 1st match by 8 wickets against VB Kanchi Veerans. Further, they won a match against Ruby Trichy Warriors by 1 wicket. In this match, SS Kumar individually took 3 wickets in a row. Next, they won a match against Dindigul Dragons by 6 wickets. In this match, C Hari Nishant was the only one who took just 2 wickets.
AB Tanwar of the winning team took the maximum 15 wickets by an average of 22.06 in TNPL 2018. N Athisayaraj Davidson of the team Albert TUTI Patriots took 13 wickets with an average of 19.23 and T Nataranjan of the team Lyca Kovai Kings took 12 wickets with an average of 12.41.
TNPL Most Wickets - 2017
Chepauk Super Gillies took 56 wickets and the opposing team Albert TUTI Patriots took 55 wickets in the whole series. R Sai Kishore took 5 wickets which were the maximum in the series. He took these wickets in the match played against Karaikudi Kaalai. This match was won by the team Chepauk Super Gillies by 6 wickets.
They won 6 matches by 6 wickets each and one match by 5 wickets in TNPL 2017 Series. Chepauk Super Gillies won the finale of TNPL 2017 Series against Albert TUTI Patriots by 6 wickets. N Athisayaraj Davidson was the only bowler to take 2 wickets in the finals.
R Sai Kishore took the highest 17 wickets of the series with an average of 13.41. Washington Sundar and N Athisayaraj Davidson of the same team Albert TUTI Patriots took 15 wickets.
TNPL Most Wickets - 2016
TUTI Patriots team took more than 60 wickets in the entire series. MK Sivakumar, C Ganapathy, MS Sanjay, Y Sunny, and M Raja of this team took 3 wickets each in 5 separate matches of Tamil Nadu Premier League 2016 Series.
The highest wickets were captured by W Antony Dhas of the team Chepauk Super Gillies in TNPL 2016. He individually took 14 wickets which also include 4 wickets in a row in the whole series. M Ashwin of the team Dindigul Dragons took 13 wickets by an average of 17.07 and S Harish Kumar of the team Lyca Kovai Kings also took 13 wickets with an average of 17.46. Washington Sundar, R Sai Kishore, and R Aushik Srinivas took more than 10 wickets within 9 innings each.
