The first Indian left-arm spinner to pick 150 ODI wickets

The most versatile player, who can open with his bat at any place and excel, is Ravindra Jadeja. His recent knock of four-for-seventy-nine and a fabulous eighty-six manifested to the world his classic cricketing ability and justified his incorporation to the team.

With his devastating batting and bowling, he has managed to stand tall as one of the top all-rounders in the world. Rating at 383, Jadeja is now ranked at the No.2 place in ICC Test rankings.

Due to the evolvement of Kuldeep and Chahal, who took away the selectors' attention, Jadeja failed to show his abilities, also due to lack of opportunities.

Jadeja, however, rediscovered his form in the recently concluded test series against England by a four-wicket haul.

The main reason behind the 2015 World Cup defeat was due to lack of experience in the team, so if these players are given another chance there might be a drastic improvement in the Indian overseas performance.
