Charles Leclerc is one of the first Monegasque race drivers in the history of F1 since 1994. He competes in the 2025 Formula 1 championship while driving for the Scuderia Ferrari F1 team. Leclerc started his race career by taking inspiration from his father, a former F3 racer. At seven, he moved to karting and graduated from the junior ranks to open-wheel racing. In 2015, he won the FIA F3 European Championship title, and his name was inducted into the Ferrari Drivers Academy for the road to F1.

Leclerc’s success in F1 is not alone. His success depends on one of the most vital relationships in motorsport. This relationship serves as the driver's direct communication link with the team. The communication is carried out by professional race engineers. The race engineer deals with the team’s data, mechanics, and drivers during the race. So if any problem a driver wants to tell the team during the Grand Prix, he will inform their respective race engineers first.
