James Rodriguez to leave Real Madrid in the next 48 hours

AS has revealed that the Colombian has bid adieu to his teammates at Real Madrid and will officially leave the Los Blancos by Tuesday. He wants a move to Manchester United but Chelsea and Liverpool are also said to be in the running. Rodriguez prefers a move to Old Trafford while Real Madrid have put a price tag of €70 million for the attacker. The arrival of Dani Ceballos from Real Betis has caused Rodriguez to find a new club in a hurry ahead of the pre-season.

FC Barcelona to offload defender

Sunday People has reported that the Catalans are ready to offload Thomas Vermaelen this summer with Crystal Palace keen on signing him. Palace boss Frank De Boer is a huge fan of the former Arsenal defender and is keen on adding steel to his backline with the Belgian central defender. Vermaelen struggled with injuries during his time in Spain as the Catalan journey turned out to be a nightmare for him.
