Most Wickets in Asia Cup 2025
Bowlers with the most wickets in Asia Cup History
The Men's Asia Cup is a biannual cricket competition organized by the Asian Cricket Council. The competition began in 1983. India has won eight titles (seven ODI and one T20I), making them the most successful team in the event. Pakistan has two titles, whereas Sri Lanka is the second most successful team with six.
The Rothmans Asia Cup was first played in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, in 1984. It was a round-robin competition between Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and India. Sri Lanka, a recent addition to the ICC, played Pakistan in the opening game. With two wins, India emerged victorious from this competition, Sri Lanka finished second with a solitary triumph over Pakistan, while Pakistan was eliminated without winning either of its two matches.

The Asia Cup has only been held as a T20I competition twice since it began in the shortest format, in 2016 and 2022. Sri Lanka won in 2022, and India took up the trophy in the first edition in 2016.
