Asia Cup 2025 Schedule
The Asia Cup 2025 will feature eight competing teams, divided into two groups of four each, and will take place from September 9 to September 28. The T20 format will be used for the competition to prepare for the World Cup the following year.
The world number one-ranked Indian team will be captained by Suryakumar Yadav. The other teams in the competition are Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Oman, UAE, and Afghanistan.

Qualification
In the Asia Cup 2025 group and Super Four stages, winning teams will earn two points. If there is a draw or no result, each team will receive one point. The top two teams from the group stages advance to the Super Four stage, where teams will face one another. The top two teams in the Super Four stage will face off in the final. If there is a tie in points, the team with the highest net run-rate advances to the next round.
