Ally Leigh Ewing, better known as Ally McDonald, is an American professional golfer. She began her professional career in 2015, following her graduation. Soon after becoming professional, she got a conditional LPGA tour card for 2016 after finishing T22 in the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament. In 2016, she competed primarily on the Symetra Tour, placing runner-up four times and second on the prize list. She has been playing full-time on the LPGA Tour since 2017.

She began her golfing career while attending Mississippi State University when she won the tournament five times in a row. In 2019, she was named to the 2019 Solheim Cup team, replacing Stacy Lewis, who was injured during the competition. In October 2020, Ewing won the LPGA Drive On Championship. This was her first LPGA victory. The tournament was a new event established in 2020 in reaction to the cancellation of Asian championships caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Ewing has three professional victories to her name as of March 2024. Currently, she is demonstrating her great golfing abilities on the LPGA Tour. She has finished T55 in the LPGA Drive On Championship and T4 at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in 2024.

Ewing won five events during her collegiate golf career at Mississippi State. She won two amateur events at her institution, including the North and South Women's Amateur. She was part of the United States team that won the 2013 Spirit International Amateur Golf Championship and the 2014 Curtis Cup. Ally went professional after earning a degree in 2015.

She received her LPGA Tour card for 2016 after finishing T-22 in the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament. In 2016, she competed in the Symetra Tour and ended the competition as the runner-up about four times, registering as the second person on the money list. She then began competing full-time on the LPGA Tour. Meanwhile, she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in the midst of her promising career. She used to carry a gadget on the course to monitor her sugar levels in the event of an emergency.

In May 2021, Ewing won the Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play at Shadow Creek Golf Course in North Las Vegas, Nevada. In September 2022, Ewing won the Kroger Queen City Championship after making five birdies on the back nine holes. She has three professional victories to her credit, going back to March 2024.

Ewing married her adoring spouse, Charlie Ewing, head coach of the Mississippi State women's golf team, on May 30 in Mississippi. Her personal experiences, as well as information about her siblings and parents, are unknown.
