"Paintball guns": New GTA Online weapons wishlist by fans is crazy

Getting new GTA Online weapons is always an expectation whenever Rockstar releases a new DLC for the game. Currently, there are over a dozen different weapons that one can use in Los Santos, and the developer recently added a new skin for the Stun Gun as part of the Bottom Dollar Bounties update. The DLC is expected to release one of the brand-new GTA Online weapons, the Stun Rod, as part of the drip-feed content later this year.

Despite a plethora of choices available in 2024, there is still some equipment that fans wish to be able to use in the game. Reddit user @SuitElectronic7680 started a discussion earlier today, July 8, 2024, asking other players what weapons they wish to be added:

A user @Darktwonk gave an interesting reply to their post by sharing that they want some non-lethal weapons. Here’s what they stated:

“Paintball guns or beanbag rounds for shotguns, something non lethal, just to p*** players off.”

Their comment has received over 600 likes so far, showing that many players won’t mind it if Rockstar decides to add new GTA Online weapons that would be non-lethal.

Will Rockstar Games add new GTA Online weapons in 2024 or beyond?

Simply put, yes. Rockstar Games will certainly add new GTA Online weapons moving forward. One such item, the Stun Rod, is already leaked to be coming to the game in 2024.

Despite the developers themselves never denying new content coming along, history also suggests that they will support the game with new content for a couple of more years. Adding new guns is certainly going to be a part of it.
