Grand Theft Auto V is a 2013 action-adventure classic game published by Rockstar Games and developed by Rockstar North. Following 2008's Grand Theft Auto IV, it is the seventh main entry in the Grand Theft Auto series and the fifteenth overall. The single-player story follows three central characters, bank robber Michael De Santa, street gangster Franklin Clinton, and drug dealer Trevor Philips— in the fictional state of San Andreas, which is based in Southern California.
Platforms available
It was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September 2013, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in November 2014, and Microsoft Windows in April 2015. Grand Theft Auto Online launched on 1 October 2013, two weeks after Grand Theft Auto V's release The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions will be available in March 2022.
