"Shout out to whoever made the ladies models": GTA 6 fans love the NPC improvements over GTA 5

The GTA 6 trailer 1 showed some of the most impressive NPC models ever seen in the Grand Theft Auto series. While the models not only looked eerily similar to real humans, they also had new in-game features. Recently, a Redditor named imachoculatedonnut (u/imachoculatedonnut) shared a post on r/GTA6, praising the female NPC models in the first trailer. They wrote:

“Okay, even as a gay man myself, I have to give a shout-out to whoever made the ladies models in this game. They had no business making them this gorgeous. How did we get this when in GTA V women looked like this?”

Many fans also loved the new NPC models and shared their thoughts on them. One user named AhnDaDon (u/Least-Lychee-474) cited Grand Theft Auto 5’s age for the impressive NPC models:

Another user, TheParadiseBird (u/TheParadiseBird), wished to see different body shapes on GTA 6 Online as well:

“I hope the immense variety of body types is also used in GTA VI Online, characters in V are so awkward because they all have the same body.”

Readers should note that while changing body shapes was a feature in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, Rockstar Games removed it from the series after the 2004 title.

How many new characters are there in GTA 6?

As of now, the number of new characters in Grand Theft Auto 6 is currently unconfirmed. However, the September 2022 leaks and the first GTA 6 trailer disclosed some that we can expect to see in the future. The first confirmed character is Lucia, who will be one of the protagonists in the 2025 game.

Lucia also has a male partner who is yet to be introduced by Rockstar Games. However, the Grand Theft Auto playerbase believes him to be Jason, as seen in the leaked videos. We can expect to know more about him in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer 2.

It is worth noting that the first trailer also introduced a new NPC named Stefanie. She was the counselor who asked the female protagonist questions during the jail scene. Other than that, the leaks included some other characters, namely Dre, Sam, Kai, Wyman, Billy, Tit, Zach, RB Shaw, Vicky, Iris, Shanese, Boobie, YJ, Danny, Chester, and Dale.
