GTA 5 Expanded and Enhanced on next-gen consoles is just two days away. Not many would have imagined a Grand Theft Auto 5 relaunch in 2022. The upcoming version features a variety of changes which include visual upgrades, Quality of Life upgrades (QoL) and new gameplay features.

Replaying the story will seem worth it in this new version. This article talks about the five missions which will take the most advantage of the upgrade.

Top 5 GTA 5 missions like 'Bury the Hatchet' and 'Risk Assessment' that would benefit from the next-gen upgrade

5) Prologue

The very first mission of GTA 5 features Michael and Trevor (with Brad) in a heist all the way in North Yankton. This mission will look great on the next-gen consoles with the upgraded visuals. Players do not get to experience snowy areas in Los Santos. Realistic lighting with Ray Tracing will shine through in this sequence.

With enhanced FPS capabilities as well, the big fights will be even more immersive.

4) Bury the Hatchet

Trevor and Michael have a rough history to say the least, and in this mission gamers see all the tension finally erupt. Trevor takes matters into his own hands and flies off to the North Yankton graveyard where Michael was buried. Michael eventually reaches there too and the two friends have a classic stand-off.

Soon enough, the Triad jumps them and what ensues is one of the best gunfights in the game. This mission will now seem much easier owing to the 60 FPS upgrade on the new consoles.

3) Risk Assessment

Dom Beasley is a character in GTA 5 who is introduced through the 'Strangers and Freaks' set of missions. Dom is an adrenalin junkie and can often be seen taking on crazy death-defying stunts.

The mission sees Franklin and Dom jump off a helicopter to land at the peak of Mount Chilliad and then race down to the bottom on mountain bikes. The visuals of this mission are stunning as the chopper ride showcases the skyline and the entire mountain. While parachuting down, gamers are treated to some of the best visuals in the game.

2) Caida Libre

Caida Libre is already one of the best missions in the game due to the exhilarating action it provides. This mission also presents a great opportunity to take in the visuals that Los Santos and Blaine County provide. The bike chase, which starts from the Observatory and goes all the way up to Senora Fury, perfectly captures the gradual transformation of the map.

This mission also sees Trevor take on a few great stunts and one can only imagine how they would feel with enhanced visuals and performance on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

1) Minor Turbulence

The mission involves Trevor trying to steal some top level weapons from Merryweather. As simple as this may sound, Trevor has a habit of making things a little more difficult. This is great news for gamers as they get to fly a Cropduster into a cargo plane mid-flight and engage the Merryweather soldiers in a fire fight and steal the weapons.

This is a mission in GTA 5 that truly feels like Hollywood, think Fast and the Furious or A-Team. Trevor can also choose to drive off the destroyed plane in a Merryweather car.
