Lausanne, Nov 24 (IANS) The line-up of the 2014 Hockey World Cup at The Hague (NED) is complete following the conclusion of the men’s and women’s Africa Cup for Nations continental championship in Nairobi.
The men’s and women’s national teams of South Africa became the final qualifiers Saturday. The South Africa men sealed their ticket when they overcame Egypt 2-0 in the final while the women secured the berth by overturning a two goal deficit to defeat Ghana 3-2.
The World Cup will be held from May 31 to June 15 at the 15,000 capacity Kyocera Stadium.
