Logan Sargeant completed a test with the no. 06 Meyer Shank Racing car on November 19, 2024. The driver finished 84 laps around the 3.067-mile Thermal Club in California. Sargeant produced a third-best finish in the test. Sargeant was separated from the leader in the test by two-tenths of a second.

Shank has confirmed that Sargeant won’t be racing for the team in the 2025 season post-test, “In this case, I don’t have anything for him (Sargeant) for 2025, but I always have it in the back of my head if we got into a trouble spot and we wanted to try someone, we have a person that we can go to immediately.
