Logan Sargeant is a former Formula 1 driver. He is an American driver who has previously driven for the Williams Formula 1 team. Sargeant was promoted to drive for Williams after proving himself in Formula 2. Sargeant raced for the team for two seasons in Formula 1 from 2023-2024. Logan Sargeant was dropped from the team after the Dutch GP of 2024. He was replaced by rookie talent, Franco Colapinto. Sargeant has competed in 37 Formula 1 races as of 2024. He has not scored a single point in Formula 1. Sargeant will not be competing in the 2025 Formula 1 season as of recent records.

Logan Sargeant completed a test with the no. 06 Meyer Shank Racing car on November 19, 2024. The driver finished 84 laps around the 3.067-mile Thermal Club in California. Sargeant produced a third-best finish in the test. Sargeant was separated from the leader in the test by two-tenths of a second.

Shank has confirmed that Sargeant won’t be racing for the team in the 2025 season post-test, “In this case, I don’t have anything for him (Sargeant) for 2025, but I always have it in the back of my head if we got into a trouble spot and we wanted to try someone, we have a person that we can go to immediately. I think it’s just a rare opportunity to get to test someone who I think has some potential.” (via the official IndyCar website)
