David Beckham’s Inter Miami interested in Manchester City's Sergio Aguero

Inter Miami, the MLS outfit owned by David Beckham, is interested in signing Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero, the Sun reports. The Argentinean is currently in the last 18 months of his deal and is expected to extend his stay with the current Premier League champions. However, Aguero would not be averse to a move to MLS to join the brand new club.

A move to America would mean that he would be closer to home, where his young son currently resides. It is reported that Inter Miami met with Aguero’s representatives in the last few months and presented their proposal. The Argentinean has also drawn interest from New York City in the MLS.

Liverpool not interested in signing Timo Werner in the winter

Liverpool are not interested in signing RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner this month, Sky Sports reports. The reigning Champions League winners are among a number of clubs currently monitoring the German striker as RB Leipzig prepare for a battle for his signature this year. However, Liverpool are also least likely to pursue him in the summer, even though Anfield is Werner’s preferred destination.

The German is currently under contract with the Bundesliga side until the summer of 2023. However, he has a £51m release clause in his contract, which is supposed to decrease with every passing year.

Javier Hernandez joins MLS side LA Galaxy

Former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has joined Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy, the club has confirmed. The MLS side has agreed a transfer fee of around £7m with La Liga side Sevilla. Chicharito joined the Spanish club from West Ham United last summer but has failed to break into the first team under Sevilla manager Julen Lopetegui.

The Mexican managed just 9 appearances in the league so far and had fallen down the pecking order of late. The striker, who is also his country’s leading goalscorer with 52 goals, thinks that the time is right for him to make a move to the MLS. He is also hopeful that he can fill Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s shoes at LA Galaxy.

Manchester United edging closer to Bruno Fernandes

Manchester United are edging closer to completing a deal for Bruno Fernandes, according to reports. The Red Devils had been locked in negotiations with Sporting Lisbon for the player, but talks had come to a standstill because both clubs were still a few miles apart with their valuation of the player. However, both parties were still confident that a deal would finally happen and it now appears that United have finally reached a breakthrough.

It is believed that even though a few intricate details of the deal are yet to be finalized, the two clubs are close to an agreement over the transfer fee and the structure of payment. And there is growing confidence that the deal will see the light of the day before the end of this week.

Chelsea hold talks with PSG over potential Edinson Cavani transfer

Chelsea have held talks with Paris Saint-Germain over the potential transfer of Edinson Cavani, Goal reports. The Uruguayan is ready to leave the club this month and PSG have already rejected a £10m offer from Atletico Madrid for the player. However, the Spanish club are expected to return with an improved offer before the end of the transfer window. In the meanwhile, Chelsea have also expressed an interest in Cavani

Claude Makelele, representing the Blue, traveled to France to meet the Ligue 1 side and it is believed that the Uruguayan’s eventual departure has been discussed. Frank Lampard is an admirer of the player and could do with a striker of Cavani’s caliber in his team. However, Chelsea have not registered a formal bid for the player yet.

Jack Grealish has informed Aston Villa that he is fully committed to the club’s fight for survival and has no intention of leaving in January, the Mirror reports. The Englishman, who is also the club captain, has scored 7 goals and registered 5 assists so far this season and is being courted by Manchester United.

The 24-year-old’s current contract runs until the summer of 2023, however, that has not prevented the Red Devils from sniffing around. But Grealish only wants to focus on the job at hand right now and has told his current club that he will only think about the future in the summer.

Tottenham Hotspur interested in signing Gareth Bale this month

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in bringing former player Gareth Bale back to the Premier League. The Express quotes Juanfe Sanz, the Spanish football expert, who said in a talk on El Chiringuito TV that Spurs chief Daniel Levy had met with Florentino Perez, the Real Madrid president, and that Bale had popped up in their discussions.

Bale had been close to an exit to the Chinese League in the summer before his deal was scrapped at the eleventh hour by Perez. The Welshman has endured frosty relationships with Zinedine Zidane during his stay at the Spanish capital and those have shown no signs of clearing up. While his injury problems remain a concern, Bale could be a fantastic acquisition for the Lilywhites and would his arrival would delight Jose Mourinho, who has previously attempted to sign the player at Old Trafford.

Wilfried Zaha set to stay at Crystal Palace until the summer

Wilfried Zaha is looking to stay at Crystal Palace until the end of the season, Daily Mail reports. The Ivory Coast international had signed up with super-agent Pini Zahavi in order to secure a move away from the Eagles. However, he has realized that no club are ready to match Crystal Palace’s £80m valuation of the player and as such, a move away from Selhurst Park might not be feasible this month.

The Ivory Coast international was unhappy when he was denied a transfer to Everton last summer. However, he will not force a move out of the club at the moment and is willing to wait until the summer. Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are interested in the player but have prioritized strikers this month.

Inter Milan have a deal in principle for Victor Moses of Chelsea

Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio has revealed that the club have an agreement in principle to sign Victor Moses of Chelsea, Sky Sports reports. The Nigerian is currently on loan to Galatasaray and has won the Premier League under Antonio Conte at Chelsea in 2017. The Serie A side were interested in bringing the player to the San Siro in the summer, but a move never materialized. Now, it seems that Moses might have a chance to reunite with his former manager in Italy.

The Serie A side’s interest in the Nigerian was confirmed by Beppe Marotta, the Inter Milan chief executive, last week. Inter Milan also remain interested in Olivier Giroud and Christian Eriksen.

Wolverhampton Wanderers interested in striker Nelson Oliveira

Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in bringing former Norwich City striker Nelson Oliveira to the Molineux this month, according to Sky Sports. The Premier League side are currently negotiating with AEK Athens for the services of the Portuguese striker. Oliveira has scored 9 goals from 15 league games this season.

Wolves are interested in the player, who they see as an ideal backup for Raul Jimenez. However, AEK Athens are reportedly holding out for a transfer fee of around £6m. Apart from Oliveira, the Premier League side are also interested in versatile Olympiakos winger Daniel Podence, who could cost around £21.5m and Leonardo Campana, the Ecuadorian striker.
