So... that was one of those NXT episodes that kind of hard everything. The ending of that last match was kind of hard to watch, but that was also kind of the point. And, unlike the Eye For An Eye match at Extreme Rules, which sent my daughter running screaming out of the room, she was able to sit through this one - albeit with her eyes covered.

Karrion Kross defeats Dominik Dijakovic
Timothy Thatcher defeats Oney Lorcan
Bronson Reed defeats Johnny Gargano and Roderick Strong
Shotzi Blackheart defeats Aliyah
Breezango defeats Ever-Rise
Dexter Lumis defeats Killian Dain

So... let's take a look at the actual match results of this pretty dang excellent NXT episode.

Kross chokes out Dijakovic...

Result: Karrion Kross defeats Dominik Dijakovic

Kross throws Dijakovic into the ring and begins to absolutely destroy him. Keith Lee comes to the ring to support him. Lee wants him to quit, Dom refuses. "It's on me."

This is only slightly less hard to watch than the Eye For An Eye match if this tells you anything....

Then.... how do I explain this... Kross basically kicks the steel steps into Dijakovic's head.

Dijakovic attempts to throw Kross into the steel stairs, but Karrion reverses it.

Dijakovic with a chokeslam and gets a 2 count.

Kross is tearing it up, and Dijakovic nails him in the face with a desperation straight punch to the face.

After some pretty even back and forth, Dijakovic goes for Feast Your Eyes but Kross slips out.

Karrion Kross and Scarlett hit the ring with the best wrestling entrance going today.

Bronson Reed defeats Johnny Gargano and Roderick Strong to qualify for big Ladder Match at NXT Takeover: XXX

Next Triple Threat is Dexter Lumis vs Finn Balor vs Timothy Thatcher

In the back, Robert Stone is nursing his run-over leg. Mercedes Martinez approaches him, tells him that she needs someone to handle her paperwork and behind the scenes stuff but will break both of Stone's legs permanently if he oversteps his bounds.

Martinez is part of the Robert Stone Brand. Dang.

Lorcan goes for an armlock on Thatcher but Tim flips him over and gets the pin.

Result: Timothy Thatcher defeats Oney Lorcan

I'm joking around but this is actually a really hard hitting, intense match. Both of these guys are awesome.

Gargano hits the slingshot DDT but Reed breaks it up with a top rope splash. Reed gets the pin!

Result: Bronson Reed defeats Johnny Gargano and Roderick Strong

Gargano lawn darts Strong's face right into the second turnbuckle.

Strong with a running kneestrike onto Reed, followed up by a powerbomb onto the floor by Gargano and it looks like Reed is out of the equation, as Mauro put it, for the time being.

Strong manages to get an Olympic Slam on Reed after a Gargano superkick. Before Strong can go for the pin, Gargano tosses him out of the ring and goes for the pin. Only gets a 2.

Keith Lee responds after relinquishing the NXT North American Championship

Reed has been pretty dominant so far this match, and as soon as I type that, his two opponents take him down.

Oh, now they're working together.

So, since we're on an ad break... anybody else playing Neon Abyss? It's like Enter the Gungeon and Dead Cells and Binding of Issac. I like it.

Gargano and Strong are... trying to work together, but they don't trust each other. So Reed just stomps on Johnny's fingers and pulls Strong into the ring.
