Shotzi Blackheart: A Brief Biography

Ashley Louise Urbanski is an American professional wrestler signed with WWE. She is best known for her work with Evolve and WWE. She goes by the name Shotzi Blackheart.

Professional Wrestling Career


Early Years and Evolve (2014-2019)


Blackheart frequently appeared in several promotions, such as All-Pro Wrestling, Bar Wrestling, and Big Time Wrestling. In 2015, Blackheart sent a participation video for the sixth season of WWE Tough Enough. However, she could not take part and withdrew due to an undiagnosed irregular heartbeat, causing a failed medical. She made a small appearance in Impact Wrestling in 2018.

NXT (2019-2021)


In October, Blackheart signed with the company and began working with NXT. In 2020, Blackheart took part in a Women's Battle Royal to face the NXT Women's Champion. She eliminated Shayna Baszler and was later attacked by her. After Royal Rumble, she teamed up with Tegan Nox to face Sasha Banks and Bayley for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship and lost.


She started winning a few matches and faced Io Shirai for the NXT Championship, which she lost. At Halloween Havoc, she hosted the event and assisted Shirai in keeping her championship. At WarGames, Team Shotzi lost to Team Candice.


She formed a tag team with Ember Moon and entered the inaugural Women's Tag Team Classic and lost to Kai and Gonzalez. They faced Kai and Gonzalez for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship and won. The reign ended in 55 days when The Way defeated them for the titles.

SmackDown (2021-Present)


Blackheart and Nox made their main roster debut on SmackDown. After the draft, Nox was drafted to RAW, and Shotzi stayed on SmackDown. She began her feud with Sasha Banks and lost.
